Studios

A small creative house in the woods.

RippleRoot Studios is where things get made by hand. Soap is what we ship today. The long table — music, picture, clay — is being set.

Collections

Studios is the umbrella for everything RippleRoot makes by hand. Each collection has its own discipline and its own pace. One is available now; the rest are in progress, one well-aimed batch at a time.

The Apothecary — Deep Woods, six scents

All-natural, cold-process tallow soap. Hand-poured in small batches at the homestead, cured four weeks, themed around the elements. Three bars below ship with their finalized parchment labels; the other three are pre-launch art with the same recipe family. Every card links out to our Etsy shop — that's where stock and checkout live.

The Root

The Root

Earth. Vetiver, patchouli, cedarwood. Activated charcoal, pitch black. Smells like deep soil after rain.

Inside the Apothecary

What's in the bar

A traditional tallow base — saponified beef tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil — scented with pure essential oils and tinted with botanicals, clays, salts, or activated charcoal. Nothing else. No synthetic fragrance, no detergents, no preservatives we wouldn't put on our own skin. What's on the label is what's in the bar.

How it's made

Hand-poured at the homestead in dedicated small batches — Apothecary molds are kept separate from the unscented "Clearing" bars so the scents stay clean. Every bar rests for two days in the mold, gets sliced to size, then cures on the rack for four weeks before it ships.

About tallow

We chose tallow on purpose. It's the oldest soap-making fat in the world, mimics the lipids in human skin, lathers cleanly, and comes from animals already raised for meat — a use for what would otherwise be waste. Bars made with it last longer and rinse cleaner than vegetable-only formulations.
